You are so right..... when I don't say what I want to say or feel NEEDS to be said, I become (or remain) judgmental. I rarely refrain from saying things out of fear of being judged, though....more often it's because I don't want to hurt the person (some things need to be said but they are pretty hard to say "nicely'!) or from experience with the person, I know it won't do a bit of good anyway. ;o) !! About issues, I always speak my mind. To people, about their behavior, not too often and as a result I'll be goin' 'round thinking "gee s/he has a few screws loose" or something.

Hey Sandy, Gmail told me you wrote a response, but I'm not seeing it here. I'm an avid Shivanaut, practicing every day (pretty much) since March. It's completely transformed my life. I'm going to consider it a compliment on how stealth I was, if you didn't notice me waving my arms around throughout the whole workshop we did together ;) Are you doing Shiva Nata? I'd love to find some local people/create a community around it. Blessings!

You're talking about a little different definition of space, but I've been thinking more about literal and metaphoric conceptions of space - and I think they're related. I've been mulling over the idea that there can be a supportive container for our transformational work. Similar to our ritual spaces, and the space inside the cast circle, but it is in our imagination, and we can move into it when we need to. I've been trying to find a helpful metaphor - for my work, I've been thinking of crucibles and cauldrons, but in your situation, you might want something more serene. So many people nowadays seem to live without any silence at all, at least during their waking hours! If they've not got the tv on, they're playing music or cell phoning or out-and-about doing something. I don't know how people can live this way and keep their sanity. In fact, sometimes I wonder if they have kept their sanity! ;o) !! I used to play music while I wrote, but now I just can't stand having music on then. And I can't imagine taking a walk with earphones in my ears, piping music into my head!

Absolutely. Sometimes its the simplest lessons that are hardest to see because they hold so much depth and power! And I love your choice of the word "inviting" because it is so apt. Simple usually doesn't demand, and maybe that leads to being overlooked... but it does invite...

I would go you one further and say that there ARE 3 worlds. And there ARE 9. The way the description is split up is entirely independent of the truth it carries. The truth of green is green. AND apple and pear and grass and sea and a million other greens.

As for the angels on the head of a pin question? Clearly someone who likes to argue rather than look at the amazing mystery that is the angelic forces. Pin Schmin! So irrelevant when it comes to the power of the angelic forces and beings!

I love what you wrote here, and I love how multi-dimensional the world has become to me since I began walking the path of the mysteries. There might be three worlds, there might be nine; there might be more than that. And chances are, the number of angels who can dance on the head of a pin differs in each one, and according to who's viewing them. I wonder who first thought of that angels-on-the-pin question, anyway?
